Allen College Nursing Graduates Outperform Peers on Licensure and Certification Exams
Allen College School of Nursing dean Dr. Kendra Williams-Perez received Allen College's results from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) exam. Allen College graduates who took the PMHNP examination passed on the first attempt. This data, combined with the American Association of Nurse Practitioner (AANP) results, gives Allen College a 100% pass rate for nurse practitioner certification for 2016. The College's BSN graduates had a 96.08% pass rate in 2016 compared to pass rate of 84.56% for all RN programs in the nation and a 81.98% pass rate for all RN programs in Iowa.
Congratulations to the School of Nursing for these tremendous accomplishments.
