Setup Smartphone to Access Allen College Emails

Setup on an iPhone:

  1. Install and setup the Microsoft intune app by following the instructions in this PDF: Intune Enrollment Guide
  2. After installing and signing into the Intune app, you can configure Allen College email on your smart phone.
  3. On an iPhone, go to settings and select Passwords and Accounts.
  4. Select Add Account.
  5. Choose Exchange Account.
  6. Enter your Allen College email address and when prompted enter your password. You will also need to give the mailbox a name.
  7. On the next screen, type webmail.unitypoint.org within the server box.
  8. Type IHS under Domain.
  9. Type your username and select Next.
  10. You should now see the new mailbox within your mail app.

Setup on an Android:

  1. Install and setup the Microsoft intune app by following the instructions in this PDF: Intune Enrollment Guide
  2. After installing and signing into the Intune app, you can configure Allen College email on your smart phone.
  3. Click on the Gmail app.
  4. Click on the three lines in the upper left-hand corner.
  5. Click Add account.
  6. Choose Exchange.
  7. Enter your email address and password.
  8. Under Domain\Username enter: ihs\username for example ihs\doeja
  9. Under Server enter: webmail.unitypoint.org
  10. Click Next.
  11. You should now be able to access your Allen College email through the Gmail app.
