Accelerated and Traditional BSN Track Options

The Traditional BSN option is a 2-year program that starts in the fall and spring semesters. Applicants typically require 2 years at another college earning the required 62 general education credits. 

The Accelerated BSN option is a 12-month program that starts in the summer and fall semesters. Applicants typically require 2 to 3 years at another college earning the required 70 general education credits.

The MSN program will help you grow, serve, and lead in the field of nursing.

  • Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)

    *Nurse Practitioner MSN Specialty Tracks will transition to DNP starting in fall 2025; the last term to enroll is spring 2025.

Leadership Track

Post Graduate Certificate (PGC)

Our Post Graduate Certificate program provides opportunities for students who already have a master's degree to gain specialized knowledge within any of the specialty tracks offered.

Become a Nursing Leader with our BSN to DNP program.  The program is designed for nurses with a BSN degree who want to pursue a DNP. Our unique program prepares nurses as nurse practitioners or leaders of healthcare organizations.

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) - Post Graduate

The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree is designed for nurses seeking a terminal practice degree in nursing. The DNP degree offered at Allen College is a systems leadership DNP. The program focuses on evidence-based practice, quality improvement and leadership.

The program begins twice each year in the fall and spring term.

Graduate Nursing Specialty Tracks

Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (ACPNP) Track

The Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (ACPNP) track uses theoretical and experimental learning throughout the program. Nurses are trained to provide care to children with complex and unstable health conditions, such as those who are critically ill or injured.

Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) Track

This program is designed to educate the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the care of acutely ill patients among special populations, including those who are terminally ill.

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Track

The graduate Family Nurse Practitioner program prepares students to provide cost-effective, quality primary care. Students complete advanced practice and family nursing coursework with a life cycle perspective.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Track

The Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner track is offered in response to the growing need for specialists providing comprehensive psychiatric nursing to clients throughout their life span.
