What led you to pursue your education at Allen College?

Both of my parents work for UnityPoint Health and I am from Cedar Falls making my education close to home!

What was your first job after graduating from Allen College?

I was a NICU nurse at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for 2 years.

What led you to your exact career path?

I always wanted to be a NICU nurse! Being a nurse lead me to want to lead other nurses like me. I felt that the BSN curriculum at Allen prepared me well for a leadership position and I received great encouragement from Allen College to continue my nursing education.

Any accomplishments or proud moments?

I am currently enrolled in the DNP – Leadership program at the University of Iowa.

Hobbies or interests?

Cheering on the Hawkeyes, Vikings, and Twins!
