Allen College

Become a Donor

Allen College is a non-profit four-year college that promotes and accepts funds for itself and students. Allen Donors' financial gifts were used to build both Gerard Hall and Barrett Forum on the Allen College campus. And donors underwrite more than 125 Allen College scholarships every year.

With a mission to raise, manage, and distribute philanthropic funds, Allen Foundation touches the lives of community residents by supporting the goals of Allen Hospital and Allen College. Allen Foundation enables thousands of area residents to make a difference in the community's healthcare.

Allen Foundation's primary function is to raise private dollars needed to ensure that everyone receives the highest quality healthcare within the Allen Health System. As stewards, foundation staff members ensure that all philanthropic gifts are managed and distributed carefully and used faithfully in accordance with the donor's wishes. We invited you to explore a variety of ways of giving, including cash, pledges, securities, life insurance, and real estate. Whatever your method, your gift is tax deductible.

Your gifts go directly to Allen College and students. They provide direct capital, operating and educational benefits to Allen and the families and communities we serve. Your gifts make a difference right here at home.

In addition to the following ways to give, Planned Giving includes various long-term giving strategies designed to allow you (or your survivors) to enjoy the lifetime benefits of your gift.

  • Gifts of Cash
  • Gifts of Real Estate
  • Gifts of Closely Held Stock
  • Gifts of Farms and Homes
