Allen College graduates make a difference in our world. Here you will find ways to stay connected with Allen College and other alumni and opportunities to support future Allen College difference makers by supporting the scholarship program, simulation or other area of interest. 

The Allen College Alumni Association includes graduates from the medical technology program, diploma nursing school and the college. The Alumni Association is dedicated to promoting and supporting the Allen College mission and its heritage.

Scholarly Award

The Allen College Alumni Association Scholarly Award aims to assist Allen College alumni in advancing their career through:

  • certifications
  • research or
  • any type of continuing education initiative (not intended for tuition assistance)

A total of $2,000 will be awarded per year, and the awards will be granted to four recipients at a maximum of $500 each.

The next round of applications is due no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024.

Alumni Hall of Fame

Alumni selected for the distinguished Hall of Fame award, are inducted into the Hall of Fame during the annual alumni reunion. The Alumni Board reviews nominations and makes the selection. 

To nominate someone to the Allen College Alumni Hall of Fame, complete the nomination form. 

Alumni Association Advisory Board

Graduates are needed to join the board. 

  • Meetings are held virtually monthly.
  • Members help with 1-2 fundraisers yearly.
  • Members help with the annual alumni reunion weekend.

Allen College license plate available for purchase

Show your Allen College pride with a specialized license plate for your vehicle! You may purchase the plate online through the Iowa Department of Transportation website.
