Allen College provides continuing education in alignment with the Iowa Board of Nursing 655, Chapter 5 with appropriate subject matter.
- Courses must be completed in their entirety to receive credit. No partial credit will be granted.
- A record of your participation will be on file at Allen College for four years following the program.
- A contact hour will be awarded for every 60 minutes of instruction.
- A $10 fee is charged for participant certificates provided for non-Allen College events.
- While Allen College, School of Nursing is still processing and approving continuing education offerings for registered nurses (RNs), according to the newest rulemaking related to continuing education from the Iowa Board of Nursing (IBON), found at: Iowa Administrative Code, IBON approved providers are no longer necessary for approval of nursing continuing education in Iowa.
