Dr. Debora Johnson-Ross

Dr. Debora Johnson-Ross began her first term as a trustee on the Allen College Board on January 1, 2022. Dr. Johnson-Ross is the Provost at Wartburg College in Waverly and has been at Wartburg since January 2021. Prior to joining Wartburg, Dr. Johnson-Ross served as the director of the Mayor’s Scholar Program at Baltimore City Community College. She also served as senior vice president of academic innovation at BridgeEdU, a company designed to increase college access and retention for underserved students. Dr. Johnson-Ross earned a Bachelor of Arts in government from Wofford College, a Master of Science in contract and acquisition management from Florida Institute of Technology and a Master of Arts and doctorate in international studies from the University of South Carolina - Columbia
