Allen College offers 11 degree programs continuing a tradition of excellence in health care education since 1925. The campus is located in Waterloo, IA near UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital. Enrollment is typically 450 on-site and online students each year. Small class sizes, academic support and excellent licensure pass rates make Allen College the best choice for nursing and health sciences education.

Meet one-on-one, virtually or on campus, with an Admissions Counselor to review program and application details. 

Visits can be tailored to your needs. Let us know if you would like to meet with financial aid or faculty from your program of interest (subject to availability).

Campus Visit Days

One Friday each month geared toward prospective undergraduate students with a specific interest in Allen College. The interactive visit includes reviewing the admission process, insight from current students and faculty, a financial overview and a tour of the campus.

*One attendee at each Campus Visit Day will win a $1,000 award to put towards their Allen College tuition.

A Day in the Life

Want to make a difference? Allen College offers a variety of programs that lead to a fulfilling career in healthcare. 

A Day in the Life is designed for students exploring healthcare career paths. Nursing, radiography, sonography, medical laboratory science, occupational therapy and public health will be highlighted. The sessions include hands-on opportunities for participants.

Group Visits 

The Admissions Office is excited to welcome groups to visit campus. Complete the registration form and we will be in touch to finalize and confirm your group visit.
