Dr. Osborne joined the physical therapy faculty in 2023. She has been a licensed physical therapist for 13 years and brings experience from skilled nursing and outpatient physical therapy and has additional training in manual therapy techniques from the Institute of Physical Art. She has also previously worked in PT education as an adjunct and full-time faculty. She is passionate about patient education and the role physical therapy can play in preventive health, particularly cardiovascular health in women. She is a member of the APTA and serves on the website committee for the Academy of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physical Therapy.

Scholarship/Research:
Dr. Osborne’s area of research is preventive cardiovascular education and research, with a particular focus on women’s health issues related to cardiovascular health. She is also interested in diaphragmatic movement, breathing patterns, and the effect of breath on health. She has presented posters and educational sessions at state and national conferences.
